DIRECTOR/ PRODUCTOR/GUIONISTA

Arturo Gonzalo Martini Stellmacher, better known as Gonzalo Martini, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Of Italian and Argentinian nationality, son of Arturo Martini and Mónica Stellmacher. He has two older sisters and one younger brother, who have witnessed his great imagination skills. Since he was a kid, he used to read books and envision new stories together with them. He also introduced shows in his school, which he then named "Arturo's show". Family, friends and teachers were his audience. His father rented a movie at a local video club weekly so he could watch. That interest slowly grew into the desire of one day being part of the extraordinary world of films. After his father's death at a young age, Gonzalo held on to that passion even more. He attended St. Andrew's Scots School of Buenos Aires. A sports lover, he studied Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2010, but shortly after he decided to definitely start his journey towards film arts. He graduated as a film director at Universidad Camilo José Cela in Madrid. While studying, he was in charge of the making of short films such as Mundo Difuso (2014) and Silencio (2014). Yokai (2018) is his debut as an author, director, writer and producer
